10 OF MY FAVORITE: COFFEE TABLES

Image via zgallerie

I love a good coffee table and styling it of course is a whole different post. But when it comes to selecting a specific table, I like pieces that really bring a 'material' impact.

A great way to incorporate rich and interesting texture, the perfect coffee table makes a beautiful visual statement and serves as an important anchor piece in a room.

I typically gravitate towards tables fabricated in a singular interesting material; think solid honed marble, woven rattan, high-gloss lacquer, burl wood, acrylic, or cerused oak. All classic materials that look fresh yet timeless and tend to work well with most decor styles.

From a simple acrylic waterfall edge that literally looks good in any room, to a chunky gray marble plinth style that is clean yet chic, here is a quick round-up of my current favorites.
